Process for Choosing Representatives

What is the process for choosing representatives to CoPS?

Allied Pediatric Organizations: It is the responsibility of the Allied Pediatric Organizations (sustaining, supporting or contributing) to appoint representatives to CoPS. Each allied organization receives one vote. Representatives should be appointed to CoPS for a three-year term.

Subspecialties: Only those subspecialties that have the subspecialty’s annual dues paid ($750/rep) will be considered members of CoPS. Each subspecialty may have 1 or more representatives ($750 dues/rep); no more than two votes per subspecialty. Representatives should serve a three-year term, and terms should be staggered so that all representatives do not rotate off in the same year.
